Banner-ific Thanks!

I made this card today for my grandmother to give. I think it turned out super cute!

Card Front

For the front of the card I used paper from MME Lime Twist - Fly a kite 6x6 paper pad. I had lots of scraps, so I cut strips in different widths and adhered them to the card front. On one of the strips I layered a PTI star boarder die cut.

I then used a PTI die as my focal point and adhered a Spellbinders frames tags to stamp the other half of the sentiment (PTI Thanks All Ways). The banner is punched out with a EK Tools small punch. I used Paper Smooches letter stamps to stamp thanks. I popped everything up with foam tape and adhered natural twine with Tombow Mono Multi liquid adhesive.

Inside:

I left the inside simple with a die cut from MFT, and paper from the Fly a Kite patterned paper pad. I stamped thank you! from a Tiddlyinks clear stamp set.

Thanks for stopping by!

Hi everyone!  Thought I would share a card that I made a while back and didn't have time to make a video for it on YouTube.

The card is 4x4 on craft cardstock.  I used my Labels 16 Spellbinders die (my favorite shape at the moment) in white.  I then stamped the balloons in Memento ink in various colors. I then dicut 2 balloons, stamped them and adhered them to the cardstock with demensional adhesive.  I stamped the "strings" of the balloons in grey, staped the surprise sentement last.  I adhered the dicut pannel to the card base with demensional adhesive.

For the inside of the card I used the biggest Labels 16 diecut and stamped balloons directly onto the bottom and side of the dicut., and then stamped the strings.  I stamped the sentement last, on top of the balloons.  I then adhered it to the card base with a tape runner.

Products Used:  All paper and stamps (except inside sentement) from Papertrey Ink: Paper - White and Kraft; Stamp Sets - Heart-2-Heart # 2 (balloons), Movers and Shakers Sentements (surprise sentement), Verve Stamps set Let It Shine (inside sentement); Dies: Spellbinders Lables 16, Heart-2-Heart #2 balloon die; Ink: Momento - Lady Bug, Summer Sky, Pear Tart, London Fog, Tangelo, Angel Pink, and Cantaloupe; Adehesive - Scotch Mounting Tape, Tape stamper/runner by Tombow.

Thanks for stopping by, take some time to be crafty today!

Hi everyone!  Welcome to my blog Ordinarily Crafty!  I decided to start a blog to companinon with my YouTube channel, because sometimes I make cards and don't have the time to make a video before it gets sent out, or the video is only 1 or 2 min. long.  I also am going to be out and about this summer, assisting my dad as he gets a stem cell transplant to hopefully beat cancer.  I thought that it would be easier sometimes to share here.

I picked the title Ordinarily Crafty because of a couple of things.  First, I wanted crafty in there somewhere since I am BAcraftygirl on YouTube, and wanted to continue the name.  I came up with ordinary because how  I have always found myself to be the "different" person in a group, but truly always felt ordinary; also because I am usually found being crafty!

I hope you enjoy, and again, welcome to Ordinarily Crafty!
